The Epiccw journey has been an interesting one. The name Epiccw started way back in 2010 when I was 11, I needed a name for an email so I could sign up for fantasy baseball. That was just the start for the Epiccw name though, in 2012 when I was 13, I began my YouTube journey, battling and reviewing Beyblades. I would spend a few years in this category. In 2014 I would shift more to a car related era talking about cars and doing a few RC videos as well, along with some videos on NASCAR. 2015 saw another massive shift more towards gaming content, I was doing gaming content prior but in 2015 I got a PlayStation 4 which elevated my recording ability. The next few years were heavily focused on gaming, mainly GTA Online, Overwatch and NASCAR Games. In 2018 I got into reviewing Overwatch league games and giving my opinion on what I saw. In 2020 my channel had a massive upgrade, I made use of Covid money and invested in getting a new computer along with a capture card, this opened up new recording opportunities outside of PlayStation games for the first time. In late 2022 my friend Wanyá joined in a bigger role, he had been a part of content since 2012 but now he would be making his own content on the channel as well as being in up to 6 videos in a week. In 2023 I launched a series called The Racing Debrief, this focused on me talking about NASCAR, Formula 1 and occasionally Indycar racing. In January 2024 Wanyá left Epiccw entirely, leaving a massive hole to fill in. I opted to cut down on content creation on Youtube, still making 7 videos a week but expand the Epiccw brand to other places, including X which will host many past and future videos and also the launch of Epiccw.net which hosts a curation of my recent videos and my journey into writing with articles mostly about sports topics, those mainly being NASCAR and Formula 1. 2024 saw massive changes for the brand, with Jonathan joining the brand after Wanyá left, Jonathan took over the role of race playlist co-host along with making other content. Wanyá made a return a few month later with content now changing again allowing for multiple series with different hosts. In August I launched a podcast with Jonathan called Generational Run: The Podcast. Also in August, I met the most amazing woman, Emily, who would quickly become my girlfriend and even quicker became my Fiancée in September. Emily was curious about the brand right away as she herself is a big gamer, she wanted to be part of the content creation so with a bit of work we found a way to incorporate her into the brand. She does her own solo series along with being part the main brand videos. Her solo videos represent a big step for the brand to have multiple people making solo content for the Epiccw brand. To end 2024 we saw NASCAR gaming take center stage instead of GTA racing. Wanyá took a few month break as he focused on a move and plans to return in February 2025. As for other 2025 plans Emily is leading the charge into streaming with a new series of Monday weekly streams and in February 2 videos a day becomes the goal of the brand once again. We also aim for the most watched year on Youtube for the brand looking to surpass the 574,195 views in 2023. I still have many ideas for the Epiccw brand in the future that I can’t wait to share.
