“The best thing you have to offer the world is yourself. You don’t have to copy anyone else. If you do, you’re second best. To achieve success is to be first, and that’s being yourself.” - John Denver

The Race Playlist point system and rules

For each race, the winner earns 10 points, the second-place finisher earns 5 points, and a Did Not Finish (DNF) results in 1 point. Additionally, each lap completed earns 1 point, and the driver with the fastest lap earns 1 point as well.

All races in the playlist must consist of 5 laps, and each episode of the playlist includes a total of 16 races. The Wait Up rule allows drivers to catch up if they are within a 29.999 second range behind the leader, but it cannot be used after the leader starts the final lap. Wait Ups are not usable in point-to-point races, cannot be sold, and each driver is limited to 2 per playlist. The first wait up costs 1 point, and the second wait up costs 2 points.

Reset rules are in place if a driver crashes into someone else. Both cars must realign their front wheels side by side at the center of the track or the nearest straight section. Resets only occur on straights, and a countdown of 3, 2, 1, Go is used to resume the race. A jumped restart results in a 1 point deduction, and a jumped restart on lap 5 results in a 5 point deduction.

Other rules include penalties for not lining up in the correct position, a required pit stop and specific tire compounds for Open Wheel Races, a mandatory Joker Lap in Rally Races, and specific handi-cap rules for certain players based on previous performance. The Race Randomizer feature adds variety to races, and bets can be placed on individual race outcomes.

Additional rules cover starting order, general race procedures, disqualifications for using banned cars, track limits, track selections, and consequences for failing to stop for resets or wait ups. Solo race testing on tracks in the upcoming playlist is prohibited, and specific agreed-upon tracks may vary in lap requirements.

Overall, the Race Playlist incorporates various rules and a point system to ensure fair competition and an exciting racing experience.

Racing Masters Rules

To win a race, a 1-2 finish is required and this must be achieved three times in a series. Each series consists of five races, and in order for a 1-2 finish to count, there must be five participants in the lobby at the end. The length of races varies, with shorter races ranging from 9-13 laps, medium races from 5-9 laps, and longer races with 2-5 laps. Additionally, tracks cannot be chosen consecutively for two episodes. If someone lags out, a race can be considered official after the halfway point. Boost On Go must be enabled, and the loser of the previous episode gets the advantage of starting first in all races of the next episode.
