Curtis’ July 2024 10 songs

  1. How Forever Feels - Kenny Chesney. I like this song because its all about wanting to know how forever feels, by being in love with someone forever, thats something that I want and hope to know myself.

  2. Never Gonna Give You Up - Rick Ansley. The most iconic meme song of all time, everyone enjoys a good rickroll, it has been a popular meme since 2006 and continues to evolve. The song is really good and is quite catchy as well.

  3. Check Yes Or No - George Strait. I remember hearing this song on the radio when I was younger, it would get played a lot on country radio back then as it had been out for only about 10 years, it was one that always stuck out to me.

  7. Clementine - Young Gravy. I tend to not listen to Rap or Pop county songs, leaning more to more of traditional country songs but this one is really catchy and quite enjoyable

  8. Mask Off - Future. This song has such a good sound to it, plus “Ain’t no way, Ain’t no Fucking way” is a great line to use in certain situations.

  9. Obsessed - Olivia Rodrigo. This is kinda just a basic pop song but sometimes they stand out, this is one of those times that one does for me.

  5. Take Me To Tomorrow - John Denver. This is a John Denver Deep Cut song, its a lesser known song for sure. Its a totally different vibe from his usual more folk music sound.

  6. Stairway to Heaven - Led Zeppelin. This is one of the most iconic songs of all time and is considered one of the best ever, what else can I say.

  7. No Friends In The Industry - Drake. I really like this song, its a relatable topic of being close with a few people but most people are not friends. I relate with when it comes to work and to building my brand.

Curtis’ May 2024 10 songs

  1. Boot Scootin’ Boogie - Brooks And Dunn. This song is pure 90’s country. This song is also one of my all time favorite songs to play and has been towards the top of my apple music replay consistently the past few years.

  2. All My Ex’s Live in Texas - George Strait. This is a go to George Strait song, this is a ideal song to play for someone to show what true country music should sound like.

  3. Murder On Music Row - George Strait & Alan Jackson. I feel this song is a perfect representation and explanation of the changes in country music, talking about how country has moved more in a pop direction. This song is from 2000 but feels like it could be about todays country music even more than 24 years ago.

  4. Jumpman - Drake & Future. This is the perfect song to get hyped up it’s just got an amazing vibe. I find myself thinking of this song anytime Jumpman is on anything, like a shirt or on a race winning NASCAR Cup car.

  5. Two Dozen Roses - Shenandoah. This is a interesting pick for this list, I feel like this is a song I don’t remember hearing much of when I was younger, and I listened to a lot of country. Maybe I just forgot, Either way I herd it on the Apple Music 80’s Country music playlist and I really enjoyed the sound of it.

  6. What a Fool Believes - The Doobie Brothers. This song is one of my favorite songs all time. I remember hearing it on the radio in GTA V and loving it then. This song is connected to so much of what I loved about playing that game in the early days.

  7. Made in America - Toby Keith. This song is full of passion and love for America and American things, listening to this song really brings out a patriotic feeling that is inside of anyone that is American

  8. Broken Neon Hearts - Ronnie Dunn. Brooks & Dunn haven’t put out new music since 2007 so getting to hear newer songs from one half of the group is amazing. This song definitely fits in with songs you would expect from Brooks & Dunn.

  10. Fool In The Rain - Led Zeppelin. If I had to pick this would be my favorite Led Zeppelin song, I enjoy the sounds in this song and how its just a little different than what you might get in some of their earlier songs.

Curtis’ April 2024 10 songs

Picking just 10 songs is a challenge!

  1. Talladega - Eric Church. This song is always a good choice but in April and October when NASCAR is racing at Talladega this song gets a few extra plays.

  2. God Love Her - Toby Keith. There is so many amazing Toby Keith songs to choose from, this one for me just tells a great story and is in my opinion one of his best songs.

  3. Rhinestone Cowboy - Glen Campbell. This is one of the first songs that come to mind when I think of country music from the 70’s. Its got such a great melody to it as well.

  4. Free Bird - Lynyrd Skynyrd. This song has such an amazing 4 minute guitar solo to finish out. This song is used a lot in instagram videos when someone is doing an epic thing, like highlights of Dale Earnhardt making an amazing pass in the 90’s.

  5. Amarillo By Morning - George Strait. George Strait is one of the greatest county music artist of all time. His music is a perfect blend of more modern county music from the 80’s and 90’s well also respecting traditional county music of the 50’s and 60’s. This is one of my favorite songs by him.

  6. Thank God I’m a Country Boy - John Denver. This song is fantastic. John Denver is one of my all time favorite artist, this song I feel is one of his top songs singing about loving being from the country and all the things that represents.

  7. If You See Him / If You See Her - Brooks & Dunn With Reba. A song by Brooks & Dunn is always going to be good so when you add another amazing artist like Reba into the mix its perfection. The duet nature of this song about a Man and a Woman missing each other but not wanting the other to find out is a perfect representation of some relationships

  8. Cruise - Florida Georgia Line. This song is a perfect throwback for me. I remember hearing this song a lot in 2012 in the car going to middle school, it was usually the only positive of those mornings for me.

  9. Pickup Man - Joe Diffie. This song perfectly represents what makes a pickup truck so loved. I just love the sound in this song. A great song to show what made 90’s country so special.

  10. Viva Las Vegas - Elvis Presley. This song is a catchy song, i’ve heard many Elvis songs in my life with all the time i spent with my grandparents it was common to hear. This is my favorite of his songs. It’s been on my mind since the Las Vegas Grand Prix back in November and I think of it every time I race Las Vegas in the F1 game.
